L'hort de Neli

Fruits and vegetables

L'Hort de Neli is a family project, promoted by Neli Miralles and Paco Pérez, which combines sustainability and ecology and promotes agri-food activity in Pedreguer (Alicante). Driven by their love for nature, they started an organic farming project in which they have involved their three children so that they are aware of the importance of ecology, respect for the environment and sustainable and responsible consumption.

All the vegetables produced in L'Hort de Neli are certified organic, alternating winter vegetables, such as artichokes, swedes or beets, with summer vegetables, such as chard, zucchini, potatoes and peppers. There is also a place for organic livestock in this project, with free-range chickens and other animals that contribute to curbing forest fires.

As a growing project that is continually reinventing itself, L'Hort de Neli has a number of regular customers who are committed to organic production certified by the CAECV, including end consumers and restaurants, such as Ausiàs Restaurant, who are looking for a quality, sustainable and traceable product.

The project also has an informative aspect on the benefits of following a healthy diet. In their eco-garden they receive visits from schools, where they educate and instruct children about crops, seasonal vegetables and the importance of caring for, knowing and respecting the origin of raw materials.
