Land for Bancalet

The Denia City Council has presented the project to adapt some municipally owned land for its transformation into an experimental agricultural park. The 35,000 m2 land is located next to the Greenway. There are two plots - one of 8,000 m2 and the other of 27,000 m2 - that are intended to be dedicated to gastronomic training and the dissemination of local products in line with the Dénia project as a UNESCO Creative City and future university headquarters for the Degree in Gastronomic Sciences. from the University of Alicante. This agricultural initiative is closely linked to the Bancalet project, which promotes local gastronomy and the appreciation of the countryside and regional products.
