The Bancalet already has its ordinance and is starting to move
04/27/2023
The plenary session of the Dénia City Council has unanimously approved the BANCALET brand ordinance, which can be used by all agricultural producers, food sector processors, hoteliers, merchants, artisans and tourist companies that grow, use or promote products grown or made in the Marina Alta region.
BANCALET marks the line that the Dénia City Council adopted when it accepted the challenges and commitments of its entry into the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, the Milan Food Policy Pact and the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs, and comes to join the circular economy policies defined by the European Community in directives or initiatives such as Green Deal or Farm to Fork.
For the drafting of the ordinance, successful practices in similar projects from other UNESCO Creative Cities and national territories that have activated recognized product or gastronomic promotion brands have been studied and adapted.
