SENSIO, "Made in La Terreta"

SENSIO, "Made in La Terreta" is the brand name of a project, using the family name, dedicated to recognizing and promoting the traditional craft of palm weaving, which has been a cornerstone of the culture and economy of the town of Gata and the Marina Alta region for generations. Through workshops, demonstrations, fairs, and markets, visitors can learn about the history and process of working with palm leaves, from harvesting to crafting any piece, and see the final result, discovering the variety of possibilities and creations this plant fiber offers.

The project also aims to recover and acquire antique pieces, tools, and techniques to promote and maintain the tradition of this deeply rooted craft in our region.
