Phylloxera arrived in our region, La Marina Alta (Alicante, Spain) in 1910, transforming the landscape and making the vineyard that our ancestors had raised disappear. The Iberians felt in love with this area, the Romans, the pirates, Alexander Dumas, the botanist Cavanilles ... this land has something special, don’t you think?

Our project aims to restore dignity to the indigenous varieties that are happiest in this part of the Mediterranean. Would you like to be part of this dream? Welcome to Les Freses.
